Hawaiian Beef Stew

If you can't meet in Hawaii, you can at least have some Hawaiian meat. Here's a tasty variation on a beef stew theme: green peppers, pineapple chunks and thick slices of onion mingling with succulent beef tips and presented on a bed of rice.

1. In a large pot, stir-fry on medium-high heat until just browned:

One package of beef tips

2. Turn heat down to low and add:

A spash or two of Teriaki sauce
One red onion, cut into large chunks
One green pepper, cut into large chunks
Half a can of pineapple chunks, well-drained

3. While your stew is simmering, boil a pot of

White rice

(Sorry, we're not going to tell you how to cook rice.)

Your Hawaiian beef should be ready-to-eat in about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper until your tastebuds are satisfied. Enjoy!

Serves: 4.
