Easy Guacamole
Did you know that avocado is known as "the poor man's butter" in some countries? Nothing poor about the taste of these little beauties! I always get rave reviews from guacamole fans who sample mine. The funny thing is... there is really almost nothing to this recipe. I'm an avocado purist, what can I say?
Ingredients:
Two ripe avocados, smashed and mixed with a fork
A tiny bit of chopped onion, just enough to give a hint of flavor
Sprinkle of fresh chopped cilantro
Squeeze of fresh lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients, season with salt and pepper to taste. Avocado turns brown if exposed to the air, so try to make yours just a few minutes before you're ready to serve.
Serves: 4-6
