Chocolate Fudge 2

Ingredients:

3 cups white sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

3 Tablespoons cocoa

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon butter

1/2 cup walnut meats, cut up

Instructions:

Boil first 4 ingredients until soft ball forms when tested in cold water (about 25 minutes). Keep at regular boil and stir constantly. Take from fire and cool for ten minutes before adding vanilla, butter and walnuts.

Stirring improves texture of fudge. When slightly thicker, pour quickly into square pan. Cut in squares when partly cool. Continue cooling until set, and cut again deeper.
